An apology leads to the patch up between Maryam Nawaz and Asif Zardari

Lahore, 16th March: Former President Asif Ali Zardari has apologized to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz over the scorching heat at the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PSM) summit.

According to sources, in the important meeting today Maryam Nawaz told the former president that she did not mean the PPP co-chairperson to apologize to her but to end the matter here.

It may be recalled that the summit of the Opposition Alliance is underway under the chairmanship of Maulana Fazlur Rehman in which Asif Zardari’s speech heated the atmosphere.

The former president demanded PML-N Supreme leader Nawaz Sharif to fly back to Pakistan. He said, “If we want to fight, we all have to go to jail.”

According to sources, Maryam Nawaz asked Asif Zardari that her father’s life is in danger, how can he return home?

She further demanded that Asif Zardari should guarantee that her father’s life will not be in danger in Pakistan. After Maryam Nawaz’s deep concern, former president Asif Ali Zardari apologized to her.
