Rift in PDM: Maryam Nawaz jumps to her father’s rescue against Asif Zardari

Lahore, 16th March: PML-N’s vice president Maryam  Nawaz retorts back to the PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari’s demand against her father and PML-N supreme leader Nawaz Sharif.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, during the ongoing session of the PDM today, Maryam Nawaz has asked to provide guarantee that her father’s life will not be in danger if he flies back to the country.

Responding to Asif Ali Zardari’s demand, Maryam Nawaz informed that her father has had two heart attacks in jail, furthermore, his life is in danger.

Former President Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz had an interesting conversation at the summit of the opposition Ittihad-e-Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on the repatriation of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

As per reports of Baaghi TV, the summit of the Opposition Alliance is underway under the chairmanship of Maulana Fazlur Rehman in which Asif Zardari’s speech heated the atmosphere.

The former president has demanded PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif to come back to Pakistan immediately. He said, “If we want to fight, we all have to go to jail. If Nawaz Sharif comes to Pakistan, we all have to go to jail to fight.”

According to sources, Maryam Nawaz asked Asif Zardari that her father’s life is in danger, how can he return home under such circumstances?

She said that Nawaz Sharif can only come back to Pakistan if Asif Zardari guarantees that her father’s life will not be in danger.
