According to the report of Baaghi TV, All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran have demanded that they be allowed to open shops 24 hours a day, seven days till Eid Al-Adha.

Naeem Mir, leader of All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran, said that the wrong strategy of the government would lead to the spread of Coronavirus. The proposal to close shops seven days before Eid is not feasible. When the rush already increases, closing shops will be pointless. Merchants will start shutting down and putting customers inside. This will increase the risk of further spread of the disease.

Naeem Mir said that the government should not play around with the traders and the people. The job of the government should not be to give up, it should be to solve problems. If the government itself becomes the enemy of employment, what is left? The rush can only be overcome by extending business hours and days during Eid. It has become more difficult for the rulers to explain the matter of reason and argument.

Naeem Mir further said that the government wants to close down the business and impose wages on the police and administration. The government should tell us how much extortion will be required to do business on Eid.

This leadership has grown out of the worst and most corrupt governments in history. Every policy of the government shows animosity towards traders, so they should be prepared for the worst scenario with the government. These rulers do not believe in words and negotiations, he added.

Naeem Mir said that traders have to unite against the government. After Eid, a nationwide business convention will be organized. After a broad consultation, a joint strategy will be worked out against the government.
