Announcement of PML-N leader Pervaiz Malik’s funeral prayers
Oct 11, 2021: Senior PML-N leader and MNA Mohammad Pervaiz Malik has passed away after heart complications.
The lawmaker, who was a veteran PML-N leader and had been elected five times from Lahore, was ill for quite some time, reports indicate, and was also seeking treatment for his ailment.
Pervez Malik was a Member National Assembly from NA-133 Lahore. PML-N leader Pervez Malik, who has been MNA five times and former Federal Minister, had also arranged Fateha for Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan today.
He had bowed out of the Lahore presidency. However, at the direction of the leadership, he continued to look after the affairs of the N-Party. Malik Pervez was considered a devoted and loyal ally of PML-N. He was repeatedly elected from different constituencies of Lahore on PML-N ticket.
Malik Pervez was also the President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry. His wife Shaista Pervez Malik and son Ali Pervez Malik are members of PML-N National Assembly.
Funeral prayers of PML-N President Lahore and MNA Muhammad Pervez Malik will be offered on Tuesday, October 12 at 10:00 AM at LCCA Ground near Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. A large number of people including PML-N leaders, members of National and Provincial Assemblies and workers are expected to attend the funeral prayers of Pervez Malik. PML-N leaders Afzal Khokhar and others have expressed their grief over the death of Pervez Malik and for the deceased.
PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb tweeted on social networking site Twitter that the funeral prayers of senior party leader Pervez Malik would be offered tomorrow.
PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif lamented the demise of Pervez Malik and said that PML-N has lost a capable, loyal and sincere leader. Pervez Malik was a sincere brother and comrade, his demise is a great loss, said PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb. She said that Pervez Malik was a compassionate man who did good to the people.
Expressing condolences to the family of Pervez Malik on the demise of Pervez Malik, PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that the late was a well-rounded parliamentarian and a man of positive thinking. He said that Malik Pervez was an elegant, sociable and loving person. Shahbaz Gill said that he was saddened to hear of the demise of PML-N Lahore President Pervez Malik.
PML-N leader Hina Pervez Butt said that she was saddened to hear the news of the death of PML-N Lahore President Pervez Malik. He was a true and upright ally of Nawaz Sharif. His services to the party will always be remembered.
Due to Pervez Malik’s death PML-N Lahore has also suspended all political events today. Pakistan Peoples Party Central Secretary Information and former Deputy Speaker National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of PML-N Lahore President and MNA Pervez Malik.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri said that he was saddened by the demise of five-time Member National Assembly and former Federal Minister Pervez Malik, his political and social services will always be remembered.
