Another 149 deaths from corona in Pakistan, the number of patients continues to rise

According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the record of deaths from corona across the country was broken again today. 149 more killed in last 24 hours According to the NCOC, 71,836 cases of Corona were tested yesterday and 6,127 new cases came to light. The rate of positive cases across the country was about 8.52%. The total number of deaths from corona in Pakistan has reached 16,131 while the total number of affected people has reached 751,309.

According to the NCOC, 7,430 people have lost their lives in Punjab due to Corona, while 4,551 in Sindh, 2,867 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 636 in Islamabad, 103 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 223 in Balochistan and 433 in Azad Kashmir. They have lost their lives. The number of Corona cases in Islamabad is 69,556, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 15,438, Punjab 267,572, Sindh 272,197, Balochistan 20,222, Azad Kashmir 15,524 and Gilgit-Baltistan 5,176. ۔ Corona virus is spreading rapidly in Pakistan. The National Command and Operations Center has declared 26 districts of Pakistan as high risk.

Earlier, SOPs have been issued by the government, according to which the government has strictly adhered to the SOPs formulated in view of the third wave of Corona in the country. Use the mask, wash your hands repeatedly with soap for 20 seconds. Ventilate the house and never leave the house unnecessarily. Avoid going to crowded places.

Wearing of masks has been made mandatory in Punjab, action will be taken against those who do not wear masks and in addition to fines, imprisonment of up to six months is also possible. Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information, Punjab, said that the Punjab government was fully complying with the directives of the NCOC.
