Another BRT catches fire, investigation launched
PESHAWAR: Another BRT bus caught fire, prompting authorities to launch an investigation, according to reports.
According to details, the fire broke out in the BRT bus in Hayatabad area. Rescue sources said that the fire was brought under control as a result of immediate action taken by Rescue 1122. However, no casualties were reported in the blaze.
It may be recalled that a fire broke out in a BRT Peshawar bus a few days back. The incident of fire also took place at Hayatabad station. Rescue 1122 managed to control the fire in time and no casualties were reported.
On the other hand, it is learned that the authorities are examining whether the blaze is an unusual occurrence despite repeated precautionary measures. It is also learned that the authorities have started investigating whether the fire started by itself or by someone else. An investigation has been launched in this regard.
