Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj has decided to give special Hajj training to the pilgrims and said that the number of pilgrims this year will be around 10,000 and a full medical check-up including corona test will be required before entering Makkah.

According to the details, the Saudi government has devised the best health plan and strict procedure for Hajj pilgrims. The age limit of 65 years has been made mandatory for performing Hajj.

Pilgrims will be required to undergo a complete medical check-up before entering Makkah, including Corona, while pilgrims will be kept in complete isolation before and after Hajj.

Saudi officials say social distance will be strictly enforced during the Hajj and people with chronic illnesses will not be allowed to perform the Hajj.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj has decided to provide special Hajj training to the pilgrims. Medical teams will be present on a daily basis to examine the pilgrims while a hospital will be set up in Mina to deal with emergencies.

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj says that the number of pilgrims will be around 10,000 this year. The countries that have decided not to send pilgrims are to be commended.

It may be recalled that the Saudi government had announced to allow Hajj on a limited scale. Saudi Foreign Ministry had said that no one from outside Saudi Arabia would come for Hajj, only those living locally would be allowed to perform Hajj.

It should be noted that about 2.5 million people go from different countries to perform Hajj every year, but due to Corona, this will not be possible this year. This decision has been taken to ensure the safety of the pilgrims.
