An anti-India protest demonstration was held in front of Indian Embassy in Brussels in connection with the Youm-e-Istehsal observed on 5th August on the completion of one year to military siege of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The protest gathering was arranged by Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU) in collaboration with Kashmiri and Pakistani and European communities and different political organizations including JKLF as well as NGOs. A large number of people attended the demonstration.

Narendra Modi-led fascist government repealed the special status of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and put it under military siege on August 05, last year.

Holding placards, the protesters raised slogans against the atrocities committed by the Indian troops in the occupied territory. The slogans included “Kashmiri want freedom”, “India quit Kashmir”, “India stop human rights abuses”, “India release Kashmiri political prisoners”.
