Karachi, July 16 (online): All Pakistan Oil Tankers Association (APOTA) has gone on strike and suspended oil supply across the country.

Severe oil shortfall is likely in the country in the face of this strike within 24 hours.

Announcing to observe country wide strike, APOTA Senior Vice Chairman Shams Shahwani  has said there will be no oil supply in the country. Government should consider our demands seriously. Oil supply will remain suspended all over the country unless our demands are met.

He said country will have to face acute  oil shortfall within 48 hours. We are forced to go on strike.  We had put out demands repeatedly before the government but government has paid no heed to our demands and now we are forced to observe strike.
