Army and Rangers summoned on the occasion of Chehlum

Lahore, 1st October: The Punjab Government has issued an order to increase the security during the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain.

The Punjab Home Department has called upon the Army and Rangers and has decided to shut down mobile phone services on the occasion of Chehlum Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) in important and sensitive cities of the province. A letter has been sent to the federal government in this regard.

The Punjab Home Department has sent a letter to the federal government to block mobile phone service in important and sensitive cities of the province on the occasion of Chehlum Hazrat Imam Hussain.

The Home Department has also summoned both the Army and Rangers on the occasion of Chehlum. Army and Rangers will be deployed in sensitive districts.

The Home Department has also sought security plan from the district administration regarding Chehlum. All the districts have been directed to make security arrangements foolproof on the occasion of Chehlum martyrs of Karbala.
