Chief of the Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa reportedly visited the frontlines on the Line of Control (LOC) and offered Eid prayers with the deployed troops.
Speaking on the occasion, General Bajwa said that the Army would take every step to meet the expectations of the nation.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief visited the Line of Control and offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers with the soldiers and offered special prayers for the prosperity and peace of Pakistan. According to ISPR, the Army Chief appreciated the spirit, dedication, and professionalism of the soldiers deployed on the Line of Control.
The Army Chief appreciated the cooperation of the Civil Administration in the prevention of Corona. He also lauded the cooperation of the Civil Administration in eradicating COVID-19. The Army Chief stressed the need to take all possible precautions to eradicate the epidemic and said that the security and well-being of the people of Pakistan is the top priority of the Pakistan Army.
