Army Chief General Qamar Javed visits Azerbaijan
BaaghiTV: According to details, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Azerbaijan on official tour.
He was received by the President of Azerbaijan H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev. COAS met with the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.

Matters of mutual interest including Afghan Peace Process and bilateral defense and security cooperation were discussed between the two countries.
According to further reports, current state of the two countries and their development was discussed. Both sides assured to work together to grow in different fields.
Pakistan showed support to Azerbaijan during the skirmishes with Armenia in 2020. Pakistan was also one of the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan’s independence.
Pakistan and Azerbaijan’s trade relations are strong resulting in $3.1 million turnover this year.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa also visited the Martyrs’ Memorial and laid flowers at the memorial to pay tribute to the martyrs.
Azerbaijan officials thanked COAS for Pakistan’s support at International forums.
