Army will be called for Country’s Benefit, says Firdous Ashiq Awan

In response to a question regarding the role of the forces of Pakistan, Firdous Ashiq Awan, the Deputy Special Information Minister for the Prime Minister, said that the forces are in this country and will serve for the benefit of Pakistan. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the forces of Pakistan are part of the country and the army will be called in for country’s Interest. Talking to a private television, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the inquiry for the debt investigation Commission is being formed, people of intelligence organizations are being added to provide accurate information about the use of money illegally. She said that civil society lacks capacity and thus cannot collect information.

Firdous Ashok Awan objected on the involvement of intelligence agencies in the commission, in which the prime minister’s specialist presented a statement on the role of the army, he said that the army is considered the main part of our country’s system. And when we feel that there is not enough competence in civil institutions, we will call our army.
