Government has decided to increase Gas Prices

The government has decided to raise the prices of gas by 200 percent. Petroleum Division has prepared a summary of 200 percent in the prices of gas. It has also been found that the Petroleum division has sent the summary to the Economic Contact Committee for the approval of 200% increase in gas prices. The Economic Relations Committee will consider this summary in the next meeting. According to reports, if the Economic Contact Committee approves the summary, then the gas for domestic consumers will be 200% expensive while the cost of gas for commercial consumers will increase by 31 percent.

According to statistics, domestic consumers using 100 units monthly will face 50 percent increment in gas price, 200 units monthly will face 75% increment and 300 units monthly will face 100% increment. The prices have increased. After increasing the gas prices, the country is more likely to face inflation.
