Islamabad accountability court issues arrest warrant for former President and senior Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader, Asif Ali Zardari.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, a hearing was held in the accountability court in Islamabad regarding the Tosha Khana reference.
Judge Muhammad Asghar Ali heard the case related to Tosha Khana reference. NAB submitted the report of sending Nawaz Sharif to UK. The NAB prosecutor said that Nawaz Sharif is in UK and sent warrants through Foreign Office.

Judge Asghar Ali said that Nawaz Sharif’s continuous non-appearance was being advertised. Judge Accountability Court issued Nawaz Sharif’s advertisement. The court reportedly issued a bailable arrest warrant for Asif Ali Zardari.
Asif Zardari’s lawyer Farooq H. Naik said in the court that Asif Zardari has filed a petition for immunity, and will appear at the next hearing.
The court remarked that it is a criminal case and Asif Zardari will have to appear before it. Nawaz Sharif is not being part of the court proceedings on purpose. Nawaz Sharif’s non-bailable arrest warrant could not be executed.
Judge Asghar Ali said that he would give a long date and then Asif Zardari should appear in the court. Farooq H. Naik said that he was appearing in the court on behalf of Asif Zardari. The court said that an arrest warrant should also be issued for Asif Zardari. The lawyer said that he was present in the court in place of the PPP leader.

The accountability court said that Asif Zardari is not a Coronavirus patient. Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi said that Farooq H. Naik was saying that the appearance of Asif Zardari would cause unnecessary traffic. Farooq H. The court remarked that former President Asif Ali Zardari’s request for exemption from attendance was rejected. The accountability court adjourned the hearing on the reference till August 17.
