As many as 100 buses adding up, the first electric bus gets launched
Lahore, 30th March: Pakistan’s first electric bus hits the road in Karachi.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, Sindh Transport Minister Syed Owais Shah launched an electric bus on Tuesday in Sindh’s capital city.
While addressing the media, Shah announced that as many as 100 electric buses will be launched in cooperation with the private sector by the end of this year.
Taking to his Twitter account, the minister shared a picture too:

Following the announcement, Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry congratulated the Sindh Government, its Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and his ministry on their remarkable development in the country.

It is to be remembered that the federal cabinet approved Pakistan’s first Electric Vehicle Policy last year in December.
