Asad Umar announces to reopen social activities in Pakistan
Lahore, 6th August 2020: Federal Minister Asad Umar has announced the date to reopen the tourist destinations, restaurants, hotels, theaters, and cinema halls.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Federal Minister Asad Umar has announced that tourist destinations will be opened from tomorrow the 7th of August.
Date announced for the opening of Restaurants and Wedding halls
While hotels in tourist areas will be opened from August 8, However, theaters and cinema halls will be opened from August 10.
According to details, Asad Umar announced in a press conference that restaurants and hotels are going to be opened under SOPs.
Furthermore, Asad Umar said that the wedding halls can open from September 15.
Marriage halls to open after Eid
He further informed that the shops will be opened for six days a week and will close for one day only. Traders can open shops according to the old procedures.
Asad said that it has been decided to open educational institutions from September 15, final review of opening of educational institutions will be done on September 7.

SOPs will be issued for restaurants and cafeterias, kabaddi, wrestling, rugby and other sports. Sports are being allowed without spectators.
He said that the gyms would be allowed to open from August 10, while the theaters and cinema halls would be opened from August 10.

He said that shrines and dargahs were being opened but permission from the provincial administration would be required for Urs while the ban on double riding on motorcycles was also being lifted in the city.
Asad Omar said that public transport is also being opened, however, standing in metro buses will not be allowed to travel.
Expo halls and beauty parlors are also being opened from August 10.

As per government instructions, precaution must be taken, SOPs have been formed with regard to the holy month of Muharram.
