Asad Umar Slams Shahbaz Sharif for Holding Rally during Covid-19
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar has severely criticized Leader of the Opposition, Shehbaz Sharif, for organizing a rally in Swat while the country fights battle with corona virus.
Asad Umar took to twitter to share his thoughts on this step taken by Shahbaz Sharif. He pointed out that Shahbaz Sharif in his NA speech stated that he would do anything in his power to help fight Covid-19. But Shahbaz Sharif seems to have forgotten his agenda and held a rally in Swat with thousands of people attending it.
Shahbaz sharif in his NA speech lectured about amazing things he would have done to stop covid if he was in power. Least he can do is not do jalsas with thousands of people as he did in swat yesterday. Or is he only willing to do something positive for Pakistan if he is in power?

Asad said if the opposition really wants to do something for this country then first they should stop organizing jalsas and avoid huge gathering.
He slammed Shahbaz by questioning that is he willing to take a positive initiative for the country only if he is in power.
PDM had organized an anti-government rally in KP, where Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman spoke, alongside other leaders of the opposition.
The head of National Command and Operation Centre, Asad Umar, had previously issued a warning that the fourth COVID-19 wave is expected in the country in July if SOPs are not followed. He advised the people to get vaccinated and maintain social distance.
