Two Indian troops were killed and three injured in an attack by Kashmiri freedom fighters on Monday at Pampore area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Indian troops belonging to a ROP party of 110Bn CRPF were attacked near Kandizal bridge of Pampore in Pulwama district resulting in injuries to at least five CRPF men.

Local authorities claimed that those injured in the attack were shifted to hospital and were stable.

Soon after the attack, Indian Army’s 50 RR and joints teams of police and arm blocked the traffic on the highway and launched massive search operation.
