Atif Aslam paid a heartfelt tribute to Farhad Humayun

Lahore, 6th June: Pakistan’s top singer Atif Aslam has paid a heartfelt tribute to his fellow singer Farhad Humayun, who passed away yesterday.

The face of the ‘Overload’ band, producer, lead vocalist and drummer, Farhad Humayun left this earthly abode forever on Tuesday morning. He was battling his life against a brain tumor.

Superstar Atif Aslam penned down a special note for his late colleague on his social media handles.

On his Instagram account, Aslam shared a throwback picture of Farhad also known as Fadi to his fellow and friends and wrote, “Thankyou Fadi for giving us great music, good times and for playing on my first album.”

He added, “I was thrilled for the collab and have finished the lyrics too, but I didn’t know that we won’t be able to make it happen.”

He added that Farhad was a beast in the studio!

Fans and other celebrities also took to social media after hearing about the singer’s death to pay tribute to him and to pray for his eternal peace.

Farhad Humayun had revealed in 2018 that he was getting surgery done for a brain tumor.
