Aurat March in Islamabad: Women demand their rights

Lahore, 8th March: On the occasion of International Women Day today, Aurat March continue in different parts of Pakistan.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the Aurat March rally was held in Islamabad on Monday from National Press Club Islamabad to D-Chowk on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

According to reports, Aurat March on behalf of the Women’s Democratic Front is being held in front of the National Press Club. The main gate of the National Press Club has been closed due to the rally.

A large number of women are participating in the Women’s March chanting slogans and carrying banners and placards regarding women’s fundamental rights.

The participating women have demanded that immediate notice should be taken of the incidents of abuse of women.

They said that women are important to society and basic rights should be provided to them. Women should be given the freedom to think and further strengthen society.

It should be noted that the first woman march was held in Karachi in 2018. Next year, it was being held in more cities, including Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Larkana and Hyderabad. This year also March is taking place in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and other cities of Pakistan.
