Azadi in 2019 is not possible without Nukes: Tanvir Zamani

After Shimla agreement (which has been accepted by India & Pakistan parliament); J&K disputes have to be agreed bilaterally.

Thus UN has no role to play, as 1971 agreement nullifies UN resolution of 1948.

This was an indirect acceptance of LOC as international border.

All posts from RS Pura to Siachin were clearly identified and marked. Thus, when Pakistan invaded Kargil in 1999; they never received any international support.

Under Shimla agreement, all disputes will be settled between India & Pakistan; without involving third party. Thus UN has no role.

UN Friday session had nothing to do with Kashmir. It was about the impending Security & Financial risks to China due to the long-term but recently progressive tension among China’s two neighboring nuclear countries. Solely, requested by China.

Pakistan’s relentless 14-day aggressive campaign about the unrest, highlighting issues in that region, will not help anyone. Instead, it will cause collateral damage to both balanced powers in that region; as the only next step, the UN can take is to put both countries’ ownership rights of Nukes, initially at Jeopardy, then under custodial protection as per TPNW.

Respecting, and placing all our 72-year, nationally projected emotions aside, we must let Kashmiris who are adult and got a recent wake up call; have time to understand the intensity and dangers that come as a package in 2019, with their wish of Azadi of 65 lacks Kashmiris versus deaths of 2 billion out of 7 billion population of the world. Because Azadi in 2019 is not possible without Nukes, its neither 1857, nor 1947 or 1971.

Let them take their time to make a well informed, educated decision and choose one of the options below:

1- Hijrat ( Sunnah)
2- Embracing Delhi / equal citizen rights
3- Nukes / 2 billion deaths.

Indeed, we will stand by them forever, with whatever decision they take.
