Babar Azam determined to win the ODI series
Lahore, 29th October: Cricket team captain Babar Azam claims that the players will enter the field determined to win.
Baaghi TV: The first ODI of the series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will be played tomorrow in Rawalpindi.
During a Virtual Press Conference, while captaining the national team ODI and T20, Babar Azam said that the players will enter the field determined to win. He said that the series against the Zimbabwean team will not be taken lightly but every effort will be made to whitewash the series by playing outclass in both formats.
Both the youngsters play excellent cricket and make quick decisions in T20. No team can take it lightly, thinking positively about the Zimbabwe series and trying to get off to a good start.
My first series is to have T20 experience even in one day. The future of Bahir Ali and Abdullah Shafiq is bright.
The squad of Pakistan cricket team has been announced. Pakistan’s 15-member squad for the first ODI consists of these players:
Pakistan team will take the field under the leadership of Babar Azam while other players include Shadab Khan (vice-captain) Abdullah Shafiq, Abid Ali, Fahim. Ashraf, Fakhr Zaman, Haider Ali, Haris Raf, Haris Sohail, Iftikhar Ahmed, Emad Wasim, Imam-ul-Haq, Khushdal Shah, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Musa and Rohail Nazir.
Chamu Chibhabha will lead the Zimbabwean team, while, other notable players include Brendon Taylor, Sean Williams, Alexander Raza, Wellington Masakadza, Elton Chigumbura, Brian Chari, Ryan Burrell, Tendai Chasro, Tendai Chatra, Craig Irwin, Faraz Akram, Tanashe Kamo, Carl Momba, Richmond, Mottam Bami, Wesley Madhviri, Blessing Mozarabani, Richard Nigrua and Milton Shumba are included.
