Baaghi TV: Missiles have once again been fired around the US embassy in the center of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

According to Arab media, the US embassy in Baghdad was hit by a Katyusha missile on Saturday night, but the missile attack was thwarted by a Patriot system installed near the embassy.

Iranian-backed militant groups in Iraq have been accused of targeting the US embassy and other US installations. Four Katyusha rockets landed near the US embassy in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

Meanwhile, Al Arabiya sources have confirmed that military helicopters were seen flying over the green zone after the rocket attack.

The sources said the rockets were fired from the area of al-Rashid military camp in Baghdad.

It should be noted that for several months now, military bases in Iraq where American troops are based have been targeted. The US embassy in Baghdad has also been hit by repeated rocket attacks. The attacks have intensified since Qasim Soleimani, commander of the Iranian Al-Quds Force, was killed in a US airstrike on Baghdad airport in January this year.
