Baaghi TV: The Iraqi army said in a statement that four Katyusha rockets landed on a US-led coalition base south of Baghdad on Friday, but no casualties were reported.
According to media reports, the rocket landed at Bismaya base, where Spanish troops are part of a US-led coalition fighting ISIS.
Baghdad: US Embassy Again Under Attack
It is noteworthy that this coalition is reducing the number of its forces in Iraq. For the past several months, rockets and mortar shells have been used to target international coalition bases in Baghdad.
The US embassy in Baghdad was also hit several times by rockets and missiles. The United States has blamed Iranian-backed militias in Iraq for the attacks.
No group has claimed responsibility for yesterday’s rocket attacks.
