Baqir Abbas invited to the WorldWide Concert for Our Culture
Lahore, 13th April: Baqir Abbas, a renowned Pakistani music composer has been invited to perform at a concert at the Lincoln Centre.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Baqir Abbas has been invited to be part of Jazz at the Lincoln Center “World Wide Concert for our Culture”, a virtual program that is taking place on April 15.
As per sources, Baqir is Pakistan’s only musician performing with other collaborators, including legends like Chucho Valdés from Cuba!
According to a report released by the Lincoln Center Jazz, the Jazz will present an online musical festival at the Lincoln Center’s 2020 Gala Concert, “Concert for our Culture Worldwide,” featuring Japan, Brazil, Russia, Pakistan, South Africa, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Cuba, and its associated artists will have the opportunity to join the Lincoln Center Orchestra Jazz with Wynton Marsalis from remote locations in the United States.

Reportedly the artists performing at the concert include Baqir Abbas, Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Cecil McLoren Salonte, Sullivan Fortez, Chuno Dominique, Chucho Valdés, Dianne Reeves, Hamilton de Hollanda, Makoto Ozhunt, Nduduzo Makhathini, also including Gillette Bandiana, Stefano.
Through the concert, we will all encourage the wisdom and insight of artists who have been representing their respective cultures for decades.
According to the arrangements, jazz musicians will present a touching song to every artist, and we are confident that in this difficult time of quarantine it will become an interesting monument in the bright future.
