Washington, 24th November: President-elect Joe Biden has reportedly announced a new possible secretary of state, informs a close acquaintance of Biden.

Biden received 306 electoral votes in the November 3 election and will formally announce the nominees for his administration on Tuesday.

According to sources, he has decided to nominate his close aide Anthony Blinken as the new US Secretary of State. On foreign policy, it is said that they will restore the alliance of the United States with other countries.

On Monday, several news outlets reported that Blinken agreed with former Vice President Biden that the United States should continue to play a leading role on the world stage.

In light of Biden’s statements and the policies he outlines, it is being said that he will take three major foreign policy steps after taking the oath of office on January 20.

These include withdrawing the United States from the Paris Agreement to halt climate change, halting the process of separating the United States from the World Health Organization, and resuming the nuclear deal with Iran.
