Big blow to USD in open market: Rupee gains record value

In the open market, the price of the dollar fell by Rs2 while in interbank Pakistani rupee gained 91 paisas against USD.

Following the assurance of one billion dollars by the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan and the possibility of reviving the IMF program due to this, the trend of dollar depreciation is being seen against the Pakistani currency.

In the open market, the dollar has recorded a drop of two rupees so far and the dollar is currently trading at the level of Rs 290.

The dollar has also seen a decrease of 66 paise so far in the inter-bank and the dollar is currently trading at the level of Rs 284.25.
