Bilawal House Issues Press Release About the candidates for Azad Jammu and Kashmir Elections
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari chaired a video link meeting of the Parliamentary Board for Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was briefed by the Parliamentary Board on Azad Jammu and Kashmir Elections regarding its recommendations of candidates.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari interviewed PPP’s final candidates for Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections.
After considering the recommendations of the PPP Parliamentary Board on Azad Jammu and Kashmir, he approved the names of 31 out of 45 candidates.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will decide the names of the other 14 final candidates later.
Faryal Talpur, central president of the PPP women’s wing, chaired seven meetings of the PPP parliamentary board to interview aspiring candidates.
PPP parliamentary board for Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections interviewed 196 candidates for 45 constituencies, 59 Aspiring Candidates of Muzaffarabad Division, 51 Aspiring Candidates of Mirpur Division, 61 aspiring candidates of Poonch division, 25 aspiring candidates for 12 Jammu and Kashmir seats.

Muhammad Afsar Shahid will be the PPP candidate in LA-1 Mirpur-1.
Chaudhry Abdul Majeed in LA-2 Mirpur-2.
