It is to be noted that the initial results of the GB elections are out and according to the results, people have stamped on the Bat and PTI has taken the maximum seat number of 9.
According to unconfirmed unofficial results of 23 seats, the independent candidate won 7 seats and the PPP won 4 seats. PML-N won 2 seats and PTI’s ally MWM won one seat.
Former PML-N and PPP chief ministers Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman and Mehdi Shah have also lost the elections. The PTI’s position to form a government in Gilgit-Baltistan has become stronger.
