The Opposition in the Senate reiterated their demand to called a session of Parliament and to halt the delaying tactics against no-confidence motion, moved by opposition on Friday.
According to reports of Baaghitv. opposition leaders while talking to media outside Parliament on Friday said, they want a session of Parliament to be called on the earliest and the delaying tactics in the backdrop of no-confidence motion submitted by opposition against Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.
The joint candidate for chairman of Senate, Mir Hasil Bizenjo, spoke to media after the letter written by opposition to Secretariat. He was accompanied by Senators Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Sherry Rehman, Murtaza Javed Abbasi and others.
He claimed the opposition has support of more than 60 while the required number of senators to oust the chairman. He said , the opposition is not afraid of the arrest by the government as it shows the government is using pressure tactics to urge opposition to backtrack from this constitutional change to take place.
