Bollywood actress Dia Mirza announces birth of her baby
Lahore, 14th July: Bollywood actress Dia Mirza announced the birth of a baby boy with her husband Vaibhav Rekhi on Wednesday.
According to reports from Indian media, Dia Mirza gave birth to a baby boy a month ago who is still under neonatal care.
Former Indian actress Dia mirza shared the good news on her social media accounts Instagram and Twitter. She announced today that the little one was born on May 14 and is currently under neonatal care in the ICU.

Mirza shared a heart-touching post and started by quoting Elizabeth Stone, she wrote, “To have a child is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.”
She went on to write, “These words perfectly exemplify Vaibhav & my feelings right now. Our son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi was born on May 14th. Having arrived early, our little miracle has since then been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU.”

Highlighting the complications faced during the delivery of her baby, Dia wrote, “A sudden appendectomy during my pregnancy and a subsequent bacterial infection could have led to sepsis and proven to be life-threatening. Thankfully, the timely care and intervention by our doctor ensured the safe birth of our baby via an emergency C-section.”

She thanked all her well-wishers and people who had supported her throughout her journey. Dia also informed that her son Avyaan will be home soon with his elder sister Samaira and grandparents.
It is to be noted that 39-year-old former Miss Asia Pacific (2000) Dia Mirza got married to Vaibhav Rekhi on February 15 this year. She made her acting debut with the movie ‘Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein.’
