Bollywood Drugs Case: Deepika Padukone Admits Guilt During Interrogation

Baaghi TV, 26th September 2020: During investigation of the Bollywood drugs case, A lister Deepika Padukone has admitted to guilt. After summoning Bollywood A-listers including Deepika Padukone and Shraddha Kapoor, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of India has uncovered the fact that Deepika was the admin of a Drug Chat WhatsApp group.

According to reports the NCB had summoned Deepika Padukone, Shradha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan after finding WhatsApp chats. Sources further said that WhatsApp chats from the phone of Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash, in which ‘D’ and ‘K’ are seen to be discussing banned drugs. Deepika was summoned on the basis of a WhatsApp conversation in which she was telling her manager to acquire ‘hashish’.

The names of the Bollywood A-listers turned up after interrogation of Sushant Singh’s talent manager Jia Suha. In the chats between Jia Suha and Rhea Chakarborty, there is discussion of CBD Oil (Cannabidiol). After this discussion of the same, was also discovered between Jia Suha and Shraddha Kapoor.

According to a Times of India report, the NCB has confirmed that Deepika was the admin of a WhatsApp group discussing drugs. It was further revealed that Jia Suha was also an admin of the group while Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash was a member.

The NCB is expected to discover whether from 2017 onwards, drugs were bought, supplied, as well as used, or not. The board had summoned Jia Suha for interrogation for three consecutive days. During the interrogation she alleged that not she but Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash supplied the drugs to celebrities. The report further said that Jia Suha also shared screenshots of her conversations with her celebrity clients.

Apart from this, the previous day, the manager of Deepika, Karishma Prakash, also appeared before the NCB. Deepika too had been summoned yesterday but she appeared today, on 26th September, and Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan will also appear today.

According to the latest reports in the Indian media, Deepika during interrogation admitted that she had discussed drugs in a conversation with her manager Karishma Prakash. The Indian media says that the Narcotics Control Bureau continues to interrogate Deepika as the security around the premises has been tightened.

It should be clear that the investigation of the Bollywood drugs case commenced today in Mumbai. According to Times of India, Deepika and Shraddha reached Evelyn Guest House in Mumbai for investigation in the Bollywood drugs case related to the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. Over there a team of investigators was present from the NCB. On the other hand, Sara Ali Khan appeared at the Ballard Estate Office for questioning.

According to Indian media, Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash, who had been questioned on Friday, appeared again for questioning on Saturday. During this time, she was questioned together with Rakul Preet Singh in a session that lasted for four hours. The two were asked about their WhatsApp conversation in which it was said that Deepika Padukone used drugs.

The Indian media reports that Indian actor Ranveer Singh had requested the NCB to allow him to attend questioning with his wife Deepika, on the basis that she suffers from anxiety and can get panic attacks at times. However the NCB clearly said that they received no written or verbal request from Ranveer Singh in this regard.
