Bollywood heartthrob of yesteryears passes away

Bollywood’s heartthrob of yesteryears has passed away, just a day after we hear the sad news of Irrfan Khan’s demise.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, Bollywood’s superstar Rishi Kapoor, 67 passed away today. He was ill for a long time diagnosed with cancer since 2018, got admitted to the hospital yesterday where he breathed his last.

After undergoing treatment in the United States, he returned to India last September with his wife Neetu Singh along his side all the while.

Leading Indian actor Irfan Khan passes away

Rishi Kapoor started his film career in Bollywood in 1973 with the film Bobby which was declared a superhit. He also appeared in blockbuster films like Shri 420 and My Name is Joker as a child artist.

Rishi Kapoor was a member of the famous Kapoor family of Bollywood and was the second son of the former actor, director, and producer Raj Kapoor. He has four siblings Randhir Kapoor, Reto Nanda, Rama Jain, and Rajiv Kapoor. He is survived by a wife and two children.

It is indeed very sad for Bollywood to lose two great assets of the industry in a row.

Rishi Kapoor had worked with Emran Hashmi in his last film ‘The Body’ while he recently announced his next film with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone on social media.
