QUETTA:Balochistan:A bomb blast at Unity Chowk in Quetta killed two people and injured four others on Saturday, according to police. The explosives were allegedly planted in the motorcycle, according to authorities.
Security forces rushed to the scene as soon as the explosion was confirmed and roped off the area.
According to police officials, the explosion occurred in Quetta’s Unity Chowk neighbourhood. The blast was so loud that its sound could be heard far away.
An explosion was also reported at the Serena Hotel’s exit gate in front of the Balochistan High Court, according to police.
Rescue teams, on the other hand, have arrived at the scene and have begun rescue operations. Ambulances are transporting the injured to hospitals. In light of the situation, the hospitals have declared an emergency.
