For those who grew up with him, watching him on television, this comes off as a great blow. The official Instagram page for Disney Descendants uploaded a video of the actor as a tribute to him.
Cameron Boyce recently appeared in a music video for Hozier’s new single, “Almost”. Directed by Blythe Thomas, Almost is one of Boyce’s last projects. Commenting on the music video, Blythe Thomas wrote,
“The Hozier video concept called for a couple slow dancing in their apartment. Slow dancing, nothing fancy. Honestly, we couldn’t afford much else,” Blythe wrote.
Celebrities that included Hozier and Peyton List have also shared their condolences at the ‘untimely’ passing of the young actor. Hozier tweeted about meeting Boyce, and being “taken aback by his energy and drive, his dedication to his craft”. He continued to talk about the “kindness he [Cameron] exuded”.

His fellow co-star and older sister in the Disney original series, Jessie, had this to say about him:
“The boy who left everyone feeling hopeful and full of love.” She continued to say that, “He lifted everyone around him, and inspired/pushed me to be a better person than I ever would’ve been without his guidance, patience and love”.

While Debbie Ryan, fellow actor has not shared her thoughts on his passing, it is believed that she changed her profile picture in honor of Cameron Boyce. According to heavy.com she changed her “Instagram profile photo from a picture of herself to something that looks like the sky”.
Moreover, Disney channel issued an official statement while in conversation with ET, “From a young age, Cameron Boyce dreamed of sharing artistic talents with the world”. The spokesperson continued to say that Boyce was “an incredibly talented performer” and a “remarkably caring” person.
One fan shared condolences with the actors friends and family on Instagram stating, “This hurts so much. My condolences go to Cameron Boyce’s family, friends and his best friend Karan Brar”.
