According to the details, Ashraf Ghani has recorded a resignation message to be released any moment which will broadcast today at 1:30 pm (Kabul Time) on the pages of the Presidential Palace and the national television.
Sources reveal that Ashraf Ghani will flee to the United States (US) after stepping down from the Afghan Presidency as he has recorded a resignation message that is to be released any moment.
President Ghani had a meeting last night attended by the US ambassador & Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officials where he offered to resign. Reports reveal that the US has asked Ashraf Ghani to resign from the presidency to which he refused on August 13, 2021 (yesterday). The only person resisting resignation was Amrullah Saleh, the Vice President of Afghanistan.

According to details, Amrullah Saleh left Kabul on August 13, 2021 (Friday) and went to Tajikistan to take refuge. Sources reveal that a video message from the Afghan vice president is likely to be released soon.
On his official Twitter handle, Mubasher Lucman wrote, “As per news coming from Afghanistan the Vice President Amrullah Saleh has escaped from Kabul and gone to Tajikistan. The Rats start jumping from a burning ship. Claims of Afghan Government exposed to the fullest.”

Earlier, Vice President Amrullah Saleh had said that he would not accept the Taliban rule under any circumstances or any agreement.
Yesterday, Mubasher Lucman, a Pakistani anchorperson, was the first one to say that Ashraf Ghani could possibly flee Afghanistan by Monday because the US does not want to involve Ashraf Ghani in the next government. Earlier, when the Taliban entered Kandahar after conquering the city of Kandahar, people welcomed the Taliban and came out of their homes. According to reports, dozens of areas have so far fallen under the control of the Afghan Taliban.
