BSP distances itself from Mukhtar Ansari Ahead of UP Elections
Asaduddin Owaisi’s party All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) has come out completely in support of Mukhtar Ansari and announced to give ticket to him.
According to the details, Bahubali Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Mukhtar Ansari was given a major setback by his own party Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) before the Uttar Pradesh (UP) elections after his ’empire’ collapsed.
BSP chief Mayawati took her hand off his head and also cut his ticket. After this, Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM, which is now in the UP elections, has come out completely in support of Mukhtar Ansari. Owaisi’s party has announced to give ticket to Mukhtar Ansari.

Also, while giving a second offer for the ‘Bahubali’ MLA, it has been announced that if Mukhtar Ansari contests separately, then AIMIM will not field its candidate against him in Mau. It is to be noted that Mukhtar Ansari is currently lodged in Banda Jail in UP and is an MLA from Mau assembly constituency for 5 consecutive terms.
AIMIM UP President Shaukat Ali, after welcoming Mukhtar Ansari, said that the party would not field any candidate against Ansari and insisted that “if Ansari approaches the party, they will definitely give him a ticket”. However, AIMIM will support him if he decides to contest alone.

AIMIM has raised questions about BSP supremo Mayawati’s decision not to give ticket to Mukhtar Ansari. Attacking BSP, Shaukat Ali said, ‘I want to ask Mayawati if she (Mukhtar Ansari) was not a gangster earlier’, has she become a gangster in 2021”.

It is worth noting that Mayawati made a big announcement on Friday, instead of Mukhtar from Mau’s Sadar seat, fielded state president Bhim Rajbhar as her candidate. The BSP, which is vigorously preparing for the 2022 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, also declared its first candidate on Friday.
BSP supremo Mayawati has announced to give ticket to Bhim Rajbhar from Mau in place of Mukhtar Ansari lodged in Banda jail. On the other hand, before slamming Ansari, AIMIM recently got mafia-turned politician Atiq Ahmed, along with his family, in the party in the presence of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.
Addressing a press conference in Ayodhya, Asaduddin Owaisi defended Atiq Ahmed, saying that many BJP MPs also have serious criminal charges.

MIM Chief Asad Owaisi said that in the upcoming UP elections, it is preparing to contest 100 seats in alliance with Om Prakash Rajbhar’s ‘Bhagidari Sankalp Morcha’. The alliance consists of AIMIM, SBSP, Apna Dal (Krishna Patel), Rashtriya Party, National Partnership Party and Janata Kranti Party.
