CAA to give clarification on suspicious pilot licenses
Lahore, 11th November: The Foreign Minister for Transport has sought clarification from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on the issue of suspicious pilot licenses. Twenty Pakistani pilots are performing duties in the foreign airline.
According to the details, a letter has been sent by the Minister of Transport of Kyrgyzstan to verify the licenses of Pakistani pilots working in foreign airlines, in which details have been sought from the pilots’ licenses.
In this regard, the sources said that in the text of the letter from CAA Pakistan, the issue of pilots has been mentioned by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
The letter added that an explanation should be given within a week regarding the licenses of Pakistani pilots. Kyrgyz Airlines has 20 Pakistani pilots flying Boeing planes.
The Kyrgyz Minister of Transport has written a letter asking for a full explanation of the International Civil Aviation Organization’s pilot license issue related to Pakistan.
