Captain Aqib who was martyred in attack on security forces in Turbat district of Balochistan laid to rest with military honor in Bhera on Saturday.

According to reports of Baaghitv, Captain Aqib who embraced martyrdom in fighting terrorists in Turbat district on Saturday was laid to rest in his native town, tehsil Bhera of Sargodha district. His funeral was attended by a number of locals and Pakistan Army officers. Captain Aqib was serving in Frontier Corps in Balochistan.

Captain Aqib got commission in Pakistan Army in 2015 and was promoted to the rank of Captain in 2018. His father, a retired navy officer, says he was to get married on 24 August, 2019. His father added, he is proud of his son’s martyrdom, adding he joined unit on Sunday after spending holidays with family.
