Careem announces dismissal of its employees during Pandemic

Lahore, 6th May: Due to the declining economic conditions of the country after being stuck by the pandemic crisis and a lockdown, many organizations are firing their employees in Pakistan.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, the recent company to dismiss its employees is Pakistan’s leading Online Taxi service company the Careem, who has reportedly fired 536 of its employees.

Mudassir Sheikha, CEO of Online Taxi Service, said it was not easy to do so, but given the current situation, the company is firing 536 people, who make up 31 percent of the company’s employees, while Careem’s bus The Transport Mobile app has also been shut down.
