Case registered against 17 policemen under robbery charges

GUJRANWALA, July 11 (online): The case has been registered against 17 policemen including former SHO Mushtaq Ahmed  in Ghakhar Mandi police station,Gujranwala.

The policemen are accused of entering  in a house of a citizen and  robbing jewelry and cash during search whereas the policemen declared that the case is based on lies.

The case has been registered on the report of residence of Wazirabad Ashfaq Ahmed.

According to FIR the policemen jumped over the wall and entered the house and during search they robbed  the jewelry and cash whereas the policemen have said that they raided  the house to arrest wanted accused Arslan and no looting had been done.

SSP operation Dr Fahad has said that the investigation of case will be done on merit.
