Islamabad, 5th November: The President of Bosnia has met with Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to DG ISPR, issues of mutual interest and security situation in the region were discussed during the meeting between the President of Bosnia and the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Pak-Bosnia relations were also discussed. Enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields was also discussed.
Bosnian President laid flowers at Martyrs’ Memorial at GHQ. Bosnian President awarded Guard of Honor on arrival at GHQ, according to DG ISPR reports.
According to DG ISPR, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Bosnia and is proud of the loving relations between the two countries, including defence, technical expertise and joint ventures.
Earlier in the day, Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi met with the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Shafiq Jaffrovich, in Islamabad. Issues of mutual interest including the situation were discussed.
Addressing a function with Prime Minister Imran Khan, Bosnian President Shafiq Jaffrovich said that he was happy to come to Pakistan. Bosnia values relations with Pakistan and wants to work with Pakistan in other fields including education, trade, the two countries stood by each other in difficult times.
