Chhattisgarh CM Not Allowed To Land in Lucknow: sources

New Delhi: The aircraft of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has not got permission to land at Lucknow airport, according to information given from Congress sources.

Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi was stopped on her way to Lakhimpur Kheri. This incident happened shortly after that. Along with Baghel, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister SS Randhawa was also going to come to Lucknow, but his plane was not allowed to land.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has also not been allowed to step out of his house in Lucknow. The police is tightly guarded outside his house on Vikramaditya Marg.

Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel himself gave information about this by tweeting.

Significantly, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has already been taken into custody by the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Police. He has been kept in the camp of Second Battalion of Sitapur Police Line. Priyanka was going there to meet the families of the farmers killed in the violence.

In an order sent by the UP government to Lucknow airport in Hindi, it has been said that in view of the Lakhimpur Kheri case, keeping in mind the law and order, the flight of Chhattisgarh CM and Punjab Deputy CM will be allowed to land at Amausi airport in Lucknow.
