Chief Election Commissioner Azad Kashmir writes letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding the video of Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur.

The Chief Election Commissioner of Azad Kashmir Justice (retd) Abdul Rashid Suhlaria has written a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Ali Amin Gandapur’s video wherein the Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs is seen distributing money.

The letter sent by Chief Election Commissioner said that the Federal Ministers need to be stopped from violating the Election Code of Conduct 2021 and that the provincial ministers also need to abide by the rules.

The letter further said that the Federal Government should ensure free and fair conduct of Azad Kashmir elections, and state resources should not be used for or against any political party while federal, Azad Kashmir and provincial governments should ensure implementation of proper code of conduct.

The Chief Election Commissioner said that the candidate who violated the constituency’s rules will be declared ineligible.
