China warns International Community of World War III

China has warned the world about World War III after sending hundreds of fighter jets into Taiwan’s airspace.

According to Mail Online, China’s government-backed newspaper Global Times in an article warned the United States and other allies that Taiwan is playing with fire and that its support for these countries is proving to be quite disastrous. For China believes it to be a prelude to World War III.

The article quoted a secret agreement between the United States and Taiwan. The said agreement included details that were tantamount to challenging China’s sovereignty and the situation has been very close to a confrontation since then. Going back on its own word may be extremely difficult for the country.

As per the revelations made by sources, US President Joe Biden recently told reporters at the White House that he had a telephone conversation with his Chinese counterpart on the Taiwan issue. He stated:

“We had agreed that we would abide by the Taiwan Agreement.”

The details of the agreement reached between the two leaders during the September 9 talks are yet to be revealed.
