Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa visits Abbottabad

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited Frontier Force Regimental Center Abbottabad; he also attended the Martyrs Memorial Service.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief visited Frontier Force Regimental Center, Abbottabad. On his arrival at the Army Chief’s Regimental Center, he was received by Col. Commandant Lt. Gen. Amir Abbasi, IG Arms Lt. Gen. Majid, Commandant F. The F Regimental Center was among the receptionists.

ISPR has revealed, the Chief of Army Staff visited on the occasion of the Annual Commanding Officers Conference. During the visit, the Chief of Army Staff paid homage to the martyrs and addressed the conference participants.

Earlier today, high-level changes were made in the Pakistan Army under which the appointment of corps commanders was implemented.

As per the ISPR’s claims, Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed has been posted as Corps Commander Peshawar; Lt. Gen. Muhammad Amir has been posted as Corps Commander Gujranwala. While Lieutenant General Asim Munir has been posted as Quarter Master General.
