Chinese Company Contact Pakistan for COVID-19 Vaccine: Zafar Mirza

Lahore, 24th April: A Chinese company has contacted Pakistan regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, confirmed by Zafar Mirza.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, Zafar Mirza has confirmed that the Chinese company has contacted Pakistan for testing the corona vaccine.

Dr. Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan for Health, said on social networking site Twitter that the Chinese company has approached Pakistan for testing the corona vaccine. We will review from other sources as well, a decision will be taken after the review, it is too early to say anything about it.

It is to be noted that an official letter has been written by China Sign of Form of International Corporation to the National Institutes of Health in which China expressed its consent to supply Corona vaccine to Pakistan and has asked Pakistan to import the vaccine immediately.

However, Dr. Zafar Mirza has said that first Pakistan needs to evaluate the vaccine from other health experts for the safety of its usage.

۔Vaccines are being developed in many countries around the world to eradicate the coronavirus. There are 86 teams around the world working on the coronavirus vaccine, some of which have entered the clinical trial phase.

۔China has also approved human testing of two experimental vaccines earlier this month. In the United States, the pharmaceutical company Moderna has begun human testing for its vaccine in collaboration with the US National Institutes of Health.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump has claimed that after the vaccine trials in the United States, Germany, Britain, and China, we are very close to developing the vaccine. With the effective treatment of coronavirus, we have the largest, most intelligent, and research scientists and doctors working day and night to develop vaccines.
