Chinese Cultural Centre Kicks off Chinese New Year Celebrations
4th February 2021, Islamabad: The Chinese Cultural Center in Pakistan has started a series of Chinese New Year cultural activities. The celebrations started with a big event yesterday. The celebrations also be witnessed till 12th February, on the official page of China Cultural Centre, Pakistan:

The Chinese New Year is also known as the Spring Festival. Its history is more than 4000 years. This festival is celebrated from the evening of the last day of the 12th lunar month to the 15th day of the new lunar year. The Chinese people spend the New Year together with their families.
The Chinese Cultural Center in Pakistan has organised various online programs including “Paper Cutting”, “Chinese New Year Virtual Exhibition”, “Long Chuan Seladan Tour”, “Ice Show” and Cultural Dance. This year is also the year of cooperation between the China Cultural Center in Pakistan and the Department of Culture and Tourism in the southern Chinese province of Jiangxi.
In addition, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations between China and Pakistan, the China Cultural Center in Pakistan will also host a number of rich and diverse cultural events.
