According to the details, the citizens started paying the price for the protest of Tehreek-e-Libaik. Petroleum crisis erupted over road closures due to protests. Petrol pumps in many parts of the city could not get supply. PSO’s petrol pump in Tajpura scheme was closed due to non-availability of supply. There are also complaints of shortage of petrol in North Lahore area, Band Road, GT Road and adjoining areas.
